All doors and frames manufactured by DOOR COMPONENTS Inc. are guaranteed for a
period of one year, to be of good material and workmanship, to be free of
defects at the time of shipment that would render them unserviceable or unfit
for the ordinary purposes for which each door and frame was manufactured.
DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. will, at its option, either:
- Repair any defective door or frame without charge to the
customer, or
- Replace defective door or frame in the same condition as it
was originally sold by DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. without charge to the customer.
In case of defect reasonably discovered by inspections of each door and frame
at time of receipt from DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. written notice must be given to
DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. within 30 days after receipt of material, and before doors
are hung, or the frames are installed. Any claim after this time must be
forwarded in writing promptly to DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. In any event, within the
one year stated above, DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc. shall not be liable for doors or
frames repaired or replace without the written consent of DOOR COMPONENTS, Inc.
Specifically excluded from this guarantee:
- Doors that are improperly hung or do not swing freely due
to improper installation of frames and/or hardware.
